How can we better listen to what our bodies need?
Instead of seeing pain or illness as just a nuisance, we should view them as lessons to understand. I believe our main purpose is self-discovery and curiosity, connecting with others in the journey of learning.
Addressing pain is just one part of taking charge of our lives. We must recognize that our life's lessons are in our hands, and we don’t get second chances. We should release what we can easily and strive to move forward with joy. This is the goal of medicine.
Sometimes, I meet people who say they “don’t believe in acupuncture.” While everyone has their opinion, I remind them that acupuncture has been shown to work for dogs as well, and they don’t need to believe in it either. Luckily for us, acupuncture doesn't require belief to be effective.

Does it hurt?
No, it feels unusual, but not unpleasant.
Do you feel it?
Yes. If you're afraid of needles, try it anyway—often, those who are scared find it relaxing and may even fall asleep.
Needles for health?
Yes, acupuncture has been helping patients for over 4,000 years, much longer than Western medicine's century.
You don't need to be sick to benefit; the best patients are healthy and want to stay that way.
The idea is that energy, or “qi”/chi, flows through the body as blood. When it's flowing well, you don’t notice it. Blockages can lead to pain and disease. Pain means stagnant energy and blood.
During acupuncture, when a needle is inserted, it doesn't hurt, but the brain notices and sends blood to the area to help. This starts the healing process by bringing oxygen and nutrients to where they are needed. Acupuncture not only treats pain but also encourages patients to view health differently. Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on fixing what's wrong, acupuncture promotes overall well-being. Traditional medicine is good at addressing problems, and I'm grateful for that, but there's potential for medicine to evolve beyond just treating issues.

In simple terms, acupuncture is an ancient practice, around 5,000 years old, involving the insertion of clean, thin needles into specific body points to enhance, stimulate, and alleviate symptoms.
